"DREAM TEAM" was organized in 1991 from the graduates of Sport School 10 (Leninsky region of Samara, whose director was Vera Birbraer. Now it is the member of the regional sport club of figure skating, whose president is Alexander Belousov and now it is the united team of Samara and the Central Sport Club of the Air Force.

The team started successfully and won the bronze medal in the championship of the USSR, after 3 months had passed since its foundation.

In 1992 the team won a silver madel and at long last it became the champion of the UIS in 1993. Now this tittle also belongs to the team and since 1994 till 1996 it has been the champion of the UIS.

In 1994 the team appeared on the international ice-field for the 1-st team and also had a certain success:
  -1994 Erope Trophy Championship (France) : the 5-the result
  -1995 The World Trophy Championship (the USA) : the 8-th result
  -1996 The World Trophy Championship "ISU" (the USA) : the 6-th result.

The success of the team depends greatly on the group of the talented coaches: Yu. Vaganov, I. Lexina, G. Kasatkin.







What Is Synchronized Skating ?


- Synchronized skating is a specialized branch of skating distinct from figures, free skating, ice dancing and pair skating. Internationally, in 1994, the International Skating Union officially recognized Precision Team Skating as the fifth discipline in the sport of figure skating.

History Synchronized Skating


Synchronized skating was created in 1956. At that time, some skaters were performing synchronized routine during the intermission of hockey game. It starts in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
